March 27, 2007 - Kaplan Enhances Capabilities with Release of STT Trainer 4.4

.NET Technology, Enhanced Data Capture and Faster Web-Based Performance Helps End-Users Train on Custom and Enterprise Systems

Atlanta, March 27, 2007 -- Kaplan IT Learning, a leading provider of certification preparation, assessment, learning services and software to help individuals and organizations train on technology and prepare for technology certifications, announces the launch of the latest version of its award winning simulation-based training and documentation authoring tool, STT Trainer. STT Trainer 4.4 (rel. 4.4.5) enables authors to create end-user training for enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft, as well as custom applications to become proficient in the technology.

STT Trainer's newest innovative features include:

.NET Technology
Improved return on investment by enabling authors to capture more data with more accuracy, more ease, and greater flexibility. .NET technologies use web services to help enhance the computing experience with highly integrated communications and information.

Capture Tool to "Edit on the Fly"
The mini capture editor promotes faster editing by showing thumbnails of screens captured, enabling editing during the capture session and permitting faster creation of multiple-path lessons.

Faster Web-Based Performance
Edited lesson file size can be reduced by removing data not required for the deployed lesson; this speeds up web-based performance.

Easier Database and Repository Maintenance
Database administrators can now purge unwanted items from the STT Trainer database directly from STT Trainer, removing database files that are no longer required.
