November 27, 2006 - Kaplan’s Simulation Software Awarded Gold Medal in Learning Technology by Brandon Hall Research
Atlanta, November 27, 2006 -- STT Trainer, Kaplan IT Learning’s simulation and documentation software for enterprise training, received the prestigious gold medal in Learning Technology at the 2006 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards. These awards recognize the best in innovative corporate learning, and were presented on October 24 at the Training Solutions Conference and Expo in Denver.
The Excellence in Learning Awards program recognizes the best in innovative workplace learning by Brandon Hall Research, a leading training and development research and consulting firm. STT Trainer was honored for its custom software simulations and documentation to train and support end users of enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Office.
"The winning entries this year show great design and wonderful creativity," said Brandon Hall, Ph.D., chairman of the Awards program. "These winners really set the standard for innovative learning."
Entries were submitted in the categories of Custom Content, Learning Technology, Learning Case Studies, and Live Online Learning. A total of 252 entries, representing 16 countries, were submitted. The entries were evaluated by independent judges from 44 countries around the world.
